Gegeben ist ein Controller im Slot 2 sowie ein Raid1 über die ersten beiden Festplatten:

physicaldrive 2I:1:2 (port 2I:box 1:bay 2, SAS, 2 TB, OK)
unassigned
physicaldrive 2I:1:3 (port 2I:box 1:bay 3, SAS, 2 TB, OK)
physicaldrive 2I:1:4 (port 2I:box 1:bay 4, SAS, 2 TB, OK)

In diesem Fall kann man mit:
hpacucli controller slot=2 logicaldrive 1 add drives=2I:1:3,2I:1:4 hpacucli controller slot=2 logicaldrive 1 modify size=max
die verbleibenden Festplatten zum Raid hinzufügen und dieses anschliesend erweitern.
Dies funktioniert allerdings nur wenn der Raidcontroller mit einer Batterie ausgestattet ist.
